Buttermilk Pecan Pie

This great recipe is perfect for those who love pecan pie, but may want to avoid corn syrup, due to allergies.

You will need:

1 unbaked pie crust

3 eggs

1/2 stick butter or margarine

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup pecans

Cream together: eggs, margarine and sugar.

Add: 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 cup pecans

Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
