Easy Lemon Pie!

This a great lemon pie very easy to make and super delicious,fresh citrus taste and fresh wipped cream!

Easy lemon Pie!!!

Cooking time 30: minutes


  1.      tart dough 
  2.     1/2 cup cornflour
  3.      1 and half cups  sugar,
  4.      1/2 cup  of lemon juice
  5.      1 and a quarter cups of  water
  6.      2 table spoons of  butter(suggestion choose fresh butter that will make it very tasty)
  7.      the zest of two lemons
  8.     4 egg yolks

Decorating tips:  Chocolate sauce(I will upload my chocolate sauce shortly but any chocolate sauce is good with it) ,  Maple syrup or whipped cream or maybe meringue made with egg whites depends on your mood.


Bake the tart  dough in a preheated oven at 190 Celsius  for 12-15, until it becomes  brown. Allow it to cool .  In a saucepan mix the corn flour with  the half  cup  of sugar. Add the juice, the lemons zest and water.

Mix well to dissolve them before putting them in medium heat.

Let the mixture thickens, stirring over medium heat. Just let  it until it boils  for the first time then quickly remove it from the heat. Add the  yolks one by one,each   time, while stirring and lastly  add the butter. Allow the  lemon cream to cool for 20 minutes then put it over the baked tart dough and freeze it  for 2 hours.Cover with chocolate sauce and decorate with red fruits.There ready chocolate sauces on the market I will upload  my own version eventually.

Decoration tips:Cover with caster sugar and fresh whipped cream.Or fill the tart with meringue. Bake in preheated oven at 180oC in air for 5, to brown the meringue.
