Gooy Shoo Fly Pie
A really wet bottom Shoo Fly Pie.
1 unbaked pie Shell
1 Egg
1 Cup Table Syrup
2/3 Cup Hot Water
1 Tsp Baking Soda
CRUMBS:
2/3 cup light brown sugar
1 tbsp shortening (Crisco Can)
1 Cup Flour
Directions:
Stir Hot water and Baking soda together let cool a little. add table syrup and slowly add beaten egg.
In another bowl mix crumb ingredents togther. reserve one cup of crumb mixture for top of pie
mix rest of crumbs with rest of ingredents. pour into pie shell and sprinkle rest of crumb mixture on top
Bake at 375 for first 10 mins the bake at 350 for another 30-35 mins more or until top is brown..
