Magic Orange Custard Pie
This is a lovely and light crust.
Ingredients
- 2 cups skim milk
- 1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 6 egg whites
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 tspoon vegetable oil
- 2 tspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 tspoon orange extract
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
Method
Preheat oven to 350 F
Lightly oil a 9-inch pie pan or spray with a nonstick cooking spray. In a blender container, combine all ingredients. Blend 1 full minute. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Let stand 5 minutes. Bake 30 minutes, until puffed and golden. Cool slightly, then chill.
