Maple Syrup Pie
A warning: If you don’t have that big of a sweet tooth, don’t cut a big piece … smile!
Serves 8
Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie shell (bake according to pkg. directions)
- 1 cup (abt. 2-3 scoops) vanilla ice cream (preferably Breyer’s)
- 1 cup dark amber maple syrup
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- top with fresh or frozen fruit
Method
- Lightly soften ice cream. Add the maple syrup, followed by brown sugar.
- Whip with hand mixer at medium speed until thoroughly combined.
- Pour evenly onto baked pie shell, and decorate top with fruit.
- Let set in refrigerator for at least an hour.
