Mississippi Peach Cobbler
I thought I would share this delicious fruit dish with my friends here at Triond.
This is a great dish for summer, but it also makes a great warm and inviting holiday dish.
- 1 quart peaches
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup sifted flour
- 1/2 cup milk
Step one: Melt butter.
Step two: Pour into the bottom of a 12×7 glass pan.
Step three: Mix sugar, flour, and milk until smooth batter forms.
Step four: Pour batter over butter, but do not stir.
Step five: Layer peaches on top of batter.
Step six: Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
