Review of David Chang Recipe: Crack Pie – Does It Suck?

I’ve never tried the recipe myself but from what I have heard and read the David Chang’s recipe for Crack Pie seems to suck! Could it be that the David Chang recipe seems to suck because of one’s preference in taste?
Perhaps you would like to try your hand at home with the original cracked pie recipe handed down by David Chang himself?
Cracked Pie is a pastry from David Chang’s Milk Bar In NYC. Mister Chang is the owner of the world famous Momofuku restaurant. Apparently what makes the pastry irresistible and incredibly delicious is its oat cookie base which forms part of the crust for the actual pie.
The problem is, at least from what I’ve heard and read, David Chang’s Cracked Pie recipe sucks! Not even a hungry begger will find satisfaction eating it! It will be better to buy Cracked Pie at David Chang’s Milk Bar in NYC!
I personally have never tasted Cracked Pie but I hear it is delicous. As for the recipe, I am not sure I’ll be trying it anytime soon. Maybe you would have better luck than others? Crack pie is a beautiful version of old fashioned Chess pie. I had one piece..and it was superb. Beyond good..like someone’s grandmothers best recipe..not fussy or overdone… just perfect
