Sliced Apple Pie

A delicious dessert recipe.

Ingredients
1 (15 oz.) pkg. pie crust, thawed
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour, sifted
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
6 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Method
1) Heat oven to 425 degrees.
2) Make pie crusts as directed on package for two-crust pie using a 9-inch pie pan.
3) In a large mixing bowl combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg, mix well.
4) Add the apples and lemon juice, toss gently to mix.
5) Spoon mixture into the crust-lined pie pan. Top with second crust; seal edges and flute with fingers. Cut slits in several places on top crust.
6) Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. (Makes 8 servings)

That sounds delicious. I would add raisins as well. I love raisins in apple pie.
