Pinnies

  • Preparation time: 5mins
  • Cooking time: 20mins
  • Makes 20pinnies

Ingredients:

  1. Nestle milkmaid – ½ tin
  2. Whole wheat flour – 400gms
  3. Powdered sugar – 100gms
  4. Ghee – 150gms
  5. Almonds – 50gms (coarsely grounded)
  6. A few almond and pista for decorating

Method:

1)      Rub ghee into the flour to get bread crumbs consistency.

2)      Fry on medium fire till it turns medium brown. Remove from fire and cool for 5mins.

3)      Add powdered sugar, almonds and mix thoroughly.

4)      Add Nestle milkmaid in small quantities to get a mixture which is neither too dry nor too wet.

5)      Form into oval pinnies and leave to cool.

6)   Serve decorated with blanched almonds.
