Quick, Easy and Delicious Powdered Sugar Icing Recipe
This icing is perfect for all sorts of pastries- from sugar cookies to blueberry cakes, and more. It requires only two simple ingredients and is a very quick way to add flair and taste to your creation.
Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
-1/2 cup powdered sugar
-water
-food coloring (optional)
Directions:
- Add water to the powdered sugar a teaspoon at a time until it is of the proper consistency. Make sure it is not too runny or too thick. If you find you have added too much of either ingredient, just add a little more of the other. Milk can be substituted for the water.
- If you’d like to change the color of the icing, add a few drops of food coloring.
- Dribble or spread over your cake or cookies. If desired, add decorations like sprinkles or fruits while still moist.
