Recipe for Cream Cake
Here is lovely cream cake that is mouth-watering. Simple steps that can serve 10 and within 30 minutes, the cake is ready. Many wonder and even asked me “What the heck are these Italian flavor dishes”? Italian flavor only means that it is a traditional old time recipe which has been started by Italians.
Ingredients
· 2 cups of sugar
· 5 eggs
· ½ cup of shortening
· 1 stick of margarine
· 2 cups of flour
· 1 cup of black walnuts, coconut, buttermilk
· 1 tsp of vanilla and baking soda
· ½ tsp of salt
Ingredients for Frosting
· 1 stick of oleo
· 1 tsp of vanilla
· 1 box of sugar that is sifted and powdered
· 1 8oz cream of cheese that is softened
Instructions
· Cream the sugar, shortening and margarine
· Beat the eggs and add the yokes one at a time
· With that, keep adding buttermilk along with dry ingredients
· Add vanilla, coconut and nuts
· Fold the above into shortening mixture
· Take three greased and floured cake pan
· Pour this batter into that
· Baking should be done at temperature of 325 degrees for about 25-30 minutes
· For frosting, cream all the ingredients together and spread onto the cake
