Recipe for Preparing Cookies

“Have you ever tried making cookies that are Italy flavored at home”? No, I guess! But, recently I managed to make these delicious cookies with vanilla and almond extracts. I swear everyone who has had them have shown up at my door step the very next day. This can make 48 servings.

Ingredients

· 3 eggs

· 5 teaspoons of baking powder

· 1 teaspoon of vanilla and almond extracts each

· ¼ cup of milk

· ¾ cups of white sugar

· ½ cup of butter that is softened

· ¼ cup of vegetable oil

· 3 tablespoons of milk

· 4 cups of confectionery sugar

· 3 drops of food that is colored

· 3 ¾ cups of all purpose flour

Mixture

· Heat the oven at temperature of 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C

· Grease the cookie sheets

· Make use of large bowl and cream the butter and white sugar until they turn light and fluffy.

· Take the eggs and beat them at a time

· Stir in the almond and vanilla extract, milk and oil

· Combine flour and baking powder and mix in the above

Dough

· Take the dough and roll it into 1 inch size balls

· Roll these balls into 5 inches long each on a flat surface

· Take the cookie sheets and place the cookies 1 inch apart each before which tie the loose knots

Preparation

· Baking should be done for about 5 minutes on the bottom shelf and another 5minutes on the top shelf

· Preheat the oven and keep the cookies until they turn golden brown

· After the cookies get cooled, dip them into the icing

Icing preparation

· You require the following ingredients

o Confectionery sugar

o ½ cup of butter

o Vanilla and almond extract

· Beat in 3 tablespoons of sugar and then stir in the food coloring along with the above

    yummy is exactly the right word to describe this delicious and scrumprious and tempting snack. i can imagine the auroma of freshly baked biscuits containing vanilla and almonds extracts. this receipe is a winner, shwetha, and i love it. i shall try it out. thanks very much for sharing. :)
