Rice Pudding

A recipe of rice pudding.

Ingredients

2 cups water
1 cup medium-grain white rice or short
1 cinnamon stick, diced
1 can (12 fl. Oz.) Carnation evaporated milk Evaporated Milk
1 can (14 oz.) Condensed milk CARNATION Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/2 cup raisins
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 cinnamon

Instructions

Put in a small pot of water, rice and bits of cinnamon stick. Boil these ingredients. Then change the heat to low. Cover the pot. Cook 12 to 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove the pieces of the cinnamon stick. Pour, stirring, evaporated milk, condensed milk, raisins, vanilla and salt. Boil everything. It combines a portion of the rice mixture with eggs. Add egg mixture to rice mixture. Mix well with wire whisk. Boil everything. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
