Santra Ni Basundi
Indian dessert recipe.
Ingredients
- Milk: 4 cups
- Condensed milk: 1 cup
- Oranges (sweet): 4
- Green cardamom powder: 1/2 tsp
Method
- Boil milk and reduce till thick and creamy. Add condensed milk and boil for another 20 minutes. Remove, cool and keep it in the refrigerator.
- Extract the juice of two oranges. Strain. Of the remaining two oranges collect segments, clean, slice and remove seeds. When the milk is ice cold, add the orange juice, sliced segments and the cardamom powder.
- Serve very cold as a sweet with puris.
