Vodka Jelly

Make jelly with vodka or vodka flavored! Get drunk without even noticing!

A friend told me that jelly can be made of or with alcoholic drinks so I decided to try it out. And guess what?…It does really work!

You just need:

  • Jelly powder box
  • Vodka
  • Water (1 liter)

How to prepare it:

Basically you follow the instructions of the box. Just as if you were making an ordinary jelly. But be aware not to heat the vodka, because the alcohol evaporates.

Heat 500cm of water, and put the powder in a bowl. When the water boils just put it in the bowl with the powder and make it dissolve. (Up to here just as any jelly)

Now its vodka time! I don’t recommend you to use the other ½ L of vodka…Use just 200 – 250cm3 and the rest of water to get to 1L. Anyway that’s up to you (the consumer). Don’t forget that you should wait till the jelly gets warm or cold to put the vodka with the water. If not alcohol will evaporate.

Next put it in the freezer and you’ll have a nice vodka jelly, and get drunk without even noticing!!!

Sorry, this has nothing to do with drinks or cooking, but I found you while I was looking up the surname Garzo and I couldn’t help but ask. Who are you, where you’re from? My maiden name is Garzo and I’ve been doing some geneology on the family. Well, please I would love to get to know more about you. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks G.P.

This does work, I have had many vodka jellies at parties and they’re fantastic – but they do get your very drunk, very quickly!

However, my Vodka Jelly has usually been put in the refrigerator, not in the freezer. But I suppose that’s preference?

    Good article!

i have searched 100’s of sites to look for the best vodka jelly. i have an annual company BBQ and i was thinking of doing vodka jellies to end the night off. it sounds like an interesting recipe but im not too sure about the quantities…. obviously every true spiritual advisor knows that vodka does not freeze so even using half the quantity may not set the jelly. any suggestions??? too weak and its just jelly and too strong then it becomes a vomiting competition… also i personally think that water drains the power of vodka..would fizzy lemonade be a better carrier for the jellies???
i just hope this party goes with a bang!!!

Is the reference to cm supposed to be ml? cm is a measurement for length, distance etc not volume!
