Please Enjoy this home-made recipe for Classic Egg nog…

This was a Home made recipe created by my mom please enjoy!

It’s not very long with many details but it dose taste define i really hope you consider making this!

And please add what ever you like to it to make it your own in a way!

We usually have this during December when it’s cold out so try this egg nog warm it tastes better(well at least to me it dose!)

  • Classic Egg Nog!
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 eggs separated
  • ½ cup brandy
  • 1 pint whipping cream (2 cups)
  • 1½ qts. Milk (6 cups)
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  1. Put 4 tablespoons sugar in a large bowl. Beat in egg yolks, 1 at a time, until mixture is thick and lemon- colored.  Beat in brandy. Place egg whites and remaining 2 tablespoons sugar in another bowl. Using clean, dry beaters, beat until stiff. Set aside. Gradually and gently beat in milk. Pour into glasses and top with meringue. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  2. Once this is done feel free to heat this delectable beverage to a simmering warmth temperature or to your liking of warmth!
  3. Instead of Nutmeg in this recipe you can also use cinnamon sugar or any type of cinnamon but i prefer the Cinnamon sugar better but the nutmeg is just as fine or add something completely different if you wish I really don’t have any examples sorry but please enjoy!
  4. And i hope this helps brighten and warm your harsh Christmas days!
