How to Make a Great Margarita
The margarita is a popular tequila based drink. Using a margarita mix however, will drastically alter the taste of the tequila for the worse. Each bartender has their own secret for making a margarita. Here is an easy, inexpensive way to make a great tasting margarita at home that will taste like you ordered it at an upscale cocktail lounge.

Ingredients
- Ice
- A glass (able to hold at least 3 oz.)
- Tequila (any brand will do)
- Triple Sec (found at any liquor store in the cordial section)
- Lime juice (fresh lime juice is best)
- Orange Juice
- Pineapple Juice
Method
Step 1. Fill your glass full of ice
Step 2. Pour in 1 oz. or 3 counts of tequila, ½ oz. of triple sec and ½ oz. of
lime juice.
Step 3. Add a splash of orange juice and a splash of pineapple juice.
Step 4. Shake or stir until completely mixed
Step 5. Salt the rim of another glass. Do this by running a lime wedge along
the rim of your glass. Pour salt on a plate and dip the rim into the salt.
The salt should stick only to the rim.
Step 6. Pour the content of your drink from the mixing glass into the salt
rimed glass.
Step 7. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve
