The red headed slut was supposedly invented by a bartender at Captain Tony’s Saloon (formerly Sloppy Joe’s) in Key West, Florida.  The bar has a plaque on its wall to commemorate the creation of the cocktail. The red headed slut is a popular shot amongst college-aged adults, partially due to the the flirtatiousness of ordering drinks with sexually explicit names and partially due to the fact that it is a fruity, flavorful drink with a potent kick.  The red headed slut is made of Jagermeister herbal liqueur, peach-flavored schnapps, and cranberry juice.  The red headed slut is commonly served as a shot, but could also be drank as a cocktail if desired.

To make a red headed slut shot you will need:

• 1 oz of peach schnapps
• 1 oz of Jagermeister® herbal liqueur
• A splash of cranberry juice

Combine the ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and shake until the cocktail shaker is cold.

Strain into a shot glass and serve.
