published by Golden Light on Nov 5, 2008

The apple martini is a widely popular drink. In fact, it may be the most popular variation on a martini today. Here is a drink recipe from an actual bartender. Enjoy.

What you will need

  • Ice
  • Mixing glass (preferably a martini shaker but you can use any glass)
  • 1 Bottle of vodka (any vodka will do depending on your preference)
  • One Bottle of sour apple schnapps or apple pucker
  • One can of pineapple juice
  • Cherries

What to do

Step 1. Chill a cocktail or martini glass by adding ice and water

Step 2. In a martini shaker add ice, 2oz. or 6 counts of vodka and and 2 oz. or 6 counts of apple pucker.

Step 3. Add a splash of pineapple juice (this is to cut the tartness of the pucker and give your drink a beautiful foam toping.)

Step 4. Shake vigorously

Step 5. Dump out ice water from you cocktail glass and add a Cherry.

Step 6. Strain content of martini mixer into the chilled cocktail glass and serve.
