How to Mix a Classic Bronx Cocktail

published by paulc488 on Jul 28, 2011

This classic cocktail is both super tasty and so so easy to mix, but also makes a fantastic alternative to a classic Martini. The Bronx Cocktail is a great way to cool off on a long summers evening.

The Bronx Cocktail really is so quick and simple to mix and tastes great.  This cocktail is Gin based with the additions of both dry and sweet vermouth and a good helping of freshly orange juice.

For my Bronx recipe I have used Gordon’s gin but please feel to use the gin you personally prefer.  You will also need a cocktail shaker for this recipe, if you haven’t got a cocktail shaker you should be able pick one up pretty cheap at your local supermarket or mall.

Ingredients

2oz of Gordon’s Gin

½oz of Sweet Vermouth

½oz of Dry Vermouth

Juice of one Orange

Pour all the ingredients into the cocktail shaker, add a good helping of ice and give it a really good shake.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and serve.
