We take another break from evaluating food chains, restaurants and other dining places and just sit and have a sip from a mug of coffee or chocolate from the metropolis’ best cafés. And what better way to begin the Coffee Breaks Series than to feature one of Manila’s most patronized coffee shops: Bo’s Coffee. (You may be thinking: why not S********, perhaps the most worshipped coffee shop in the metro? But I do feel that featuring S******** would be like endorsing Jollibee to Filipinos—a cliché per se). And so I’m sticking with my choice, Bo’s Coffee.

Formed in 1998, Bo’s Coffee is a registered trademark of the business name of a chain of specialty cafés that serves espressos, other coffee beverages, chocolates, teas, and juices. Alongside its special drinks, Bo’s Coffee offers various sets of breakfast meals, pastas, breads, and a wide array of scrumptious desserts.

Menu

Bo’s Coffee serves both hot and iced espresso beverages depending on the customer’s preference. The following lists the café’s most favorite coffees.

Caffe Americano

Caffe Latte

Caffe Mocha

Caffe Cappuccino

Caffe Caramel Latte

Caffe White Chocolate Mocha

World Coffee

And if one wants to go adventurous, one may opt to purchase the Coffee of the Day. Now, not everyone is fond of plain coffees and would like to have additional ingredients that can truly be appealing to their taste buds. The following lists the café’s Froccino Primos.

Caramelo

Chocolate Chips

Coffee Jelly

Espresso Crumble

Mocha

Oreo

White Chocolate Mocha

Premium chocolates (hot or iced) are also available for the chocoholics. Bo’s Coffee also caters to those who are practicing healthy living by serving teas, juices and sugar-free drinks. The following lists Bo’s Coffee’s alternatives.

Antarteaca [Blended Tea] (Mango or Mixed Berry)

Brewed Iced Tea (Apple, Dalandan, Raspberry, Passion Fruit and Hot Numi)

Fruit Juices (Orange, Apple, Mango, Pink Guava)

Sugar-Free Drinks (Coffee Vanilla Primo, Strawberry Freeze, Vanilla Freeze)

Breakfast Meals are also hot stuff at Bo’s Coffee. One can never go wrong with the coffee shop’s set meals. Pancakes or toasts may be preferred as partner carbohydrates for its proteins.

Bacon Set

Corned Beef Set

Sausage Set

Omelet Set

And if one protein isn’t enough, the Big Breakfast Set serves…
