HOMEMADE WINE RECIPE:

1. 2 liter 100% grape juice (no preservatives).
2. 2 cups sugar
3. 9grams bakers yeast (3tsp)

Methyl alcohol is produced during the conversion of the sugar to ethyl alcohol. In the small amount that you are making it shouldn\'t be an issue. If you are making lots and then going for the high test moonshine by distilling you want to throw out the first bit you get since this actually contains the methyl. As for the towel over the jar, that doesn\'t make much since if you are trying to get an air seal. Go to lowes, get a hose connection that goes into a piping system,($1.50) and some clear hose and do it that way. Viola reusable solution. Or just go on eBay and buy 3 airlocks for $1.41. If you do the research you will see just how easy it really is to make the alcohol. In no way am I saying to distill it. It\'s illegal to do for some reason without having the proper license.
