Jack, LOL..you made all of us who have actually been doing this for a very long time laugh. You actually think you know everything. You mentality reminds me of a child who thinks he knows everything. Hey good luck mr. know it all. Some of us here actually have done this many times. Live a lil and stop being such a critic on a subject you obviously know nothing about. Oh and DOTMAN, Please learn how to spell so the rest of us understand what your talking about.

A few things to know about this recipie.
1. when done right, it definitely works.
2. once it is done fermenting, it is probably safe to flash heat your batch in the microwave or on the stove, but do not boil it for too long otherwise the alc will boil off. a better way is to chill it in the fridge overnight or something.
3. after killing the yeast i tried filtering with a washcloth to get the big chunks, but you can get rid of all the yeast by letting it settle out for a few days and siphening out the pure beverage.
4. add flavoring after makes it taste better than fermenting fruit juice. much of the flavor is lost in the fermenting process

I would try adding something like kool-aid to it when it's complete. I'll try it and let you know how it turns out.

My god did any of yun's go to school ? in tn my daddy made this stuff and then distilled it. you go for the max solubility of sugar in water. " for the drop outs" no more will dissolve K lol. Then you get the high alcohol tolerant yeast and use the amount called for per liter/gallon if yun's can do the math. put in a water bottle mine is like 5 gal glass one let is sit for two days to let the chlorine dissipate i bubble c02 thru it from my welder for ten mins instead. the yeast gets all the o's it needs from the water, h2o two parts hydrogen one part oxygen when it breaks down the sugar that's why it makes co2 one part carbon two parts oxygen. Add heat up to the threshold the yeast can work with, stir daily and again like the man said wait till it stops bubbling so much, but not completely. The heat speeds the process. It takes as long as it takes if you get it right about four or five days roughly, And again pathogens will not grow in alcohol so get it right or get the run's lol. This will get you flavorless sugar wine 12% to 20% . if you want it stronger you can freeze it and remove the ice "water" again for the idiots the alcohol will not freeze. Now this part i don't recommend to any of you who posted here today you can distill it, Heat it to the temp that ethanol evaps at and then condense the vapor that's pure GRAIN alcohol ! for the idiot who is worried bout going blind you need not worry your stupid you should not drink you cannot spare the brain cell's LMAO TO THE REST OF YUN'S YES DP IS MY CHOICE TOO!
