How to Make Mate

Mate is the National Drink in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, and it is prepared daily by millions of people.
First, fill the Mate with Yerba Mate. If you want to make it sweet, add 1 spoonful of sugar every round. Then, introduce the straw through the Yerba, and fill the mate with hot water (70-80º C). Now the mate is ready to be taken! Enjoy it with your friends! Also, you can accompany the Mate with Bizcochos or biscuits.

I was born in Argentina so I don’t need more explanations but you should have considered that Triond is an international community and mate is not popular around the globe. Beyond the recipe, why don’t you write an article telling people what mate is and what does it mean for our culture? Could be interesting.
