Mango and Acai Berry Smoothie
You might not have heard of acai berries yet. These red/purple berries are relatives to the cranberry and blueberry. They are one of the high antioxidant fruits that help to defend the body from free radical damage. The acai berry is also being studied in purported health benefits such as- weight loss, cardiovascular health, digestive health, etc..

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of frozen mango chunks
- ½ cup of French vanilla yogurt
- ½ cup of acai berry juice
Method:
Step 1: Add frozen mango, vanilla yogurt, and acai berry juice to blender.
Step 2: Blend ingredients on high for one minute.
Step 3: Stir mixture, scraping sides of blender, and blend another 30 seconds.

I love mango, its one of my favorite fruits. I just learned recently its related to poison ivy, and indeed I get a rash on my lips if I get a piece of skin…

It’s mango season right now in our country, and i love eating fresh mangoes. Now I have to look for Acai berries to make this one. sounds healthful.
