Morning Power Smoothie
Containing no chemicals or powders, this smoothie’s explosion of fruity flavor is sure to get you up and about for a healthy start to your day.
Hardware:
- Blender
- Nice tall glass
- Straw (flexi-straws are always nice)
Ingredients:
- 6 oz. whole-milk strawberry yogurt (low-fat yogurt also works)
- 1/3 cup white grape juice
- Half a medium banana
- 3/4 cup frozen wild blueberries
- 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
- Tablespoon of honey for taste (optional)

Add the juice, yogurt, half banana, and optional honey to the blender and blend on low speed until uniformly combined. Add the blueberries and blend, gradually raising the blending speed, until the mixture is no longer layered. Add the strawberries and blend until no layers remain. Pulse to break up the big chunks of fruit. If the mixture is on the thicker side, add some more juice until the smoothie reaches your desired consistency.
When all is nice and blended, pour your concoction into your glass and enjoy!

Tips:
- This recipe makes A LOT of smoothie. Pour any leftovers in a sealed container and store in the fridge for a mid-day snack.
- After pouring your smoothie from the blender, IMMEDIATELY rinse out the blender. If you just leave it in the sink to wash later the fruit and yogurt will stick to the container like glue and it will be much harder to clean.
