Whip up a tasty punch to serve family and friends at your next event.

Fruity Party Punch

2 1/2 cups pineapple juice, chilled

1 pint lime, lemon or raspberry sherbet

1 pint vanilla ice cream

1 bottle ginger ale or 7-Up, 12 oz. bottles.

Combine pineapple juice, sherbet and 1/2 ice cream.  Beat until smooth.  Add 7-Up or ginger ale,  Spoon remaining ice cream into punch Serve immediately. Makes 14 (1/2 cup) servings.Spiced Tea

Spiced Tea

1 1/2 cup Tang

1 package orange flavor instant breakfast drink

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup instant tea

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon cloves

Combine all ingredients and store in tightly covered container.  For each serving use 1 heaping teaspoonful per cup of boiling water, and stir until  dissolved.

Mock Champagne

4 cups sugar

4 cups water

4 cups grape juice

8 pints chilled ginger ale

Boil sugar and water for 3 minutes and cool.  Add the rest of the juices and chill.  Just before serving, add chilled ginger ale.   Makes 50 servings.

Tropical Punch

1 can pineapple juice, 46 oz.

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

1 can frozen orange juice

1 large bottle ginger ale

Have all juices chilled.  Combine juices; melt powdered sugar in lemon juice.  Add ginger ale just before serving.  Makes 2 1/2 quarts.

Cranberry Punch

2 quarts cranberry juice

1 can pineapple juice, 46 oz.

1 cup bottled lemon juice’2 quarts ginger ale

Chill all ingredients before combining.  Serve immediately after adding ginger ale.  If desired, omit 1 quart ginger ale and add a bottle of gin, vodka or light rum.

Coffee Freeze

3/4 cups sugar

1 1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups cold coffee

2 cups whipping cream.

In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and milk; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.  Remove from heat, let stand until cool.  Combine milk mixture, coffee, vanilla and 1 cup whipping cream; mix well.  Pour mixture into loaf pan and freeze until slush consistency, about 1 to 2 hours.  Beat remaining whipping cream until stiff peaks form; do not overbeat.  Just before serving, stir slush mixture; spoon into dessert dishes, filling 2/3 full.  Top with whipped cream.  Makes 12 (1/2 cup) servings.

Amaretto Slush

1 cup sugar

4 1/2 cups water

1 can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed and undiluted, 6 oz.

1 cup Amaretto

lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled

maraschino cherries (optional)

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan, stirring well.  Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.  Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.  Combine sugar mixture, lemonade and Amaretto; stir well and freeze mixture overnight.  Break frozen mixture into chunks.  Scoop into glasses, filling 1/3 to 1/2 full.  Add carbonated beverage; stir until slushy.  Top each serving with a cherry, if desired.  Makes 7 1/2 cups.

    I love punch we make it in a family punch bowl with fruit punch gingerale and pineapple juice then orange slices and cherries and a block of ice, great share thanks
