Quick and Easy Glazed Orange Tea Cakes
Orange Tea Cakes are wonderful with coffee or tea!

Glazed Orange Tea Cakes
1/2 stick butter
1 cup sugar
2 well-beaten eggs yolks
2 cups sifted cake flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
2 well-beaten egg whites
Glaze
4 tablespoons orange juice
2/3 cup sugar
Cream butter, add sugar, cream until light. Add egg yolks and beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with the orange juice and orange rind. Fold in the well beaten egg whites. Bake in small miniature cup cake pans at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the orange juice and sugar to make the glaze. When teacakes are baked and turned out, spoon glaze over them.

These sound delicious and I love the orange flavor! But I would eat mine with iced tea or water!

I haven’t done much baking in a while, but these sound so good. I’ might have to try them!
