Spooky Punch

A frozen fake hand floating on top adds to the squeamish appeal.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup water
  • red or orange food coloring
  • 1 powder-free latex glove
  • grape stems
  • 64 oz. apple juice
  • 1 liter ginger ale

Direction

1. Tint ¾ cup water with red or orange food coloring. Pour into 1 powder-free latex glove. Add a few grape stems (for veins) and seal wrist end of glove tightly. Freeze with fingers separated overnight.

2. Combine 1 bottle (64 oz.) apple juice and 1 liter ginger ale in large punch bowl.

3. Carefully cut plastic away from molded ice hand; add to punch bowl.

Yield: 12 cups
