Tangy Orange Rolls (Quick)

1/2 cup scalded milk

3 tablespoons sugar

1/2 cup water

1 egg

3 tablespoons butter

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1 package yeast

3 1/2 cups flour

“A” Orange filling:

2 tablespoons melted butter

1/4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons raisins

1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate

3 tablespoons grated orange rind

“B” orange filling:
1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons corn syrup

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 cup frozen orange juice

3 tablespoons grated orange rind

Combine “B” and heat until sugar dissolves and spread evenly in large pan. Mix “A” ingredients together and set aside. Combine milk, butter, sugar and salt. Add water and cool to lukewarm. Add yeast and egg and blend well. Sift flour and add to above. Roll out to 12×18 inch rectangle and spread wiht filling “A”. Roll as for jelly roll and cut into 1 inch slices, placing cut side down in pan. Let rise in warm place until double in bulk. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes about 18 medium rolls.
