Wine Recipes Snd a Cupcake That Looks Like Wine
Here, from Woman’s Day is some wine recipes.
Here are three cocktails and two foods one with wine and the other looking like wine.
First, let’s start with”
Burgundy Bubbler
this is a French drink that has contains ginge ale, red wine and orange juice
Mix 3 cups burgundy (or, really, any kind of wine) 3 cups ginger ale and 1/4 cup orange juice in a pitcher filled with ice and serve in red wine goblets. Garnish with orange wedges.
Witch in White
Benevento, Italy is a town that people said is where the witches congregated and this drink is inspired by a drink founded in that Itally town.
Put 1 1/2 ounces mint liqueur, such as Strega which is found in liquor stores and on the internet, (if you live in the United States like me we’ll order it over the internet as its not that important to hop on a flight to Italy) and 1/2 ounce fresh orange juice in each of 4 white wine glasses; stir. Top each glass which chilled white wine such as pinot Grigio, stir again and garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
Vanilla Pear Mimosa
You don’t have to only drink Mimosa’s for brunches, they can be drunk any time.
Fill a shaker halfway with ice.Add 3 ounce vanilla vodka and 1 1/2 ounces pear nectar. Strain well and strain into two flute glasses. Top off each glass with chilled Prosecco and, if desired, garnish with vanilla beans
This is a white wine a cheese dip that comes from the French Classic “Fromage Fort”
Take 4 cups grated mozzarella cheese , 1/4 cup white wine , 3 Tablespoons softened butter, 2 Tablespoons parsley and 2 cloves garlic and blend in a food processor until smooth, approximately 2 minutes. Store in refrigerator and when serving with celery stick and bread for dipping
Now for the cupcakes, First let me go Polish off a bag of cookies I just opened this sounds so good…. okay I am back and full! =)
Frost 6 chocolate or vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting . On a surface with green decorating sugar, roll out 2 large green gumdrops to 1/8 inch thickness. Using scissors cut out leaves and vines . Cut 18 small purple gumdrops into 6 slices each then arrange candy pieces into grape clusters.
