Beet Salad

Very easy to make and healthy too….

Ingredients:

Beet (Root) – 1

Olive oil – 1 spoon

Green chilies – 2

Mustard seeds – ¼ spoon

Mint leaves– As required.

Method:

Grate the beet and then keep aside.

Take a pan add olive oil heat it then add mustard seeds allow them to pop.

 Then add green chilies fry it, wait till it gets cool. Now add beetroot to that. Finally add dash of lime and garnish with mint leaves.

Nutrition importance:

Beetroots are a rich source of potent antioxidants and nutrients, including magnesium, sodium, potassium and vitamin C, and betaine, which is important for cardiovascular health. 

Olive oil is primarily a mono-unsaturated fat, the Good fat. 

Mustard seeds and green chilies are flavors

Dash of lime gives us vitamin C.
