Cabbage and Potato Pie

This is one my family favorites. Please leave comments telling me what you thought.
Ingredients
- 1lb cooked cold potatoes
- 4-6oz rashers streaky bacon
- 1lb cooked, well drained cabbage
- a little milk
- 1oz butter
Method
Slice the potatoes and put a layer into the bottom of a well greased fireproof dish. Add some of the rashers, cut into pieces. Cover with a layer of chopped cabbage. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used up, finishing up with potato. Pour over enough milk to moisten. Dot with butter and bake for about 30 minutes in a moderate oven. (350.F- Gas mark 4).
