Amy Fei’s Asian Style Simple Tasty Fried Chicken Wings

Dear readers, this is a simple recipe I experimented with whilst thinking of how to cook up a batch of Chicken Wings for some dinner guests the next day.
Bored of using the same flour or breaded batter method all the time, this is what I came up with :) Enjoy!

Amy Fei’s Asian style Simple Tasty fried Chicken Wings-

The Ingredients-

8 fresh or thawed Chicken Wings

5-6 cloves Shallots, sliced thinly

Abt 1/4 cup water

6-7 Tbsp Light Soya Sauce*

1 Tsp Sugar*

White Pepper (add as much as you like it spicy)*

The Method-

1) Combine all seasonings* in a large container

2) Stir in water little by little, combine evenly and season to taste

3) Add Shallots and Chicken Wings, rub and combine evenly for 1 minute, cover & place in fridge for overnight

4) Next day, rub in seasonings and deep fry Chicken Wings with shallots still on

5) Once cooked, dark coloured and crispy, drain and serve with steamed white rice, plain pasta or side salad

The secret is in the shallots ;) Delicious and Simple :)   Try it!
