Chicken and Noodles Recipe
A basic recipe for chicken and noodles, the name brand noodles make the dish.
This is a great recipe for chilly weather or pitch in dinners. It has all the flavors of home. While simple enough, the flavor is rich and tastes like you have been cooking all day.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts (skinless and boneless) (I use mine frozen)
- 4 cups water
- 2 Tbl poultry seasoning (optional)
- 4 Tbl chicken base (you can use bullion instead)
- 1 package of Reames Noodles
Method
In a large pot, bring the first four ingredients to a full rolling boil. Remove the chicken and cut into small pieces or shred and return to the pot. Add a package of Reames Noodles and continue to boil until noodles are finished. The noodles will thicken the liquid. The longer the dish sits, the more flavorful it becomes.
You can add your favorite vegetables to this dish. Suggestions: carrots and or peas.
Reheating this dish is simple and doesn’t alter the flavor. If the leftovers seem dry, you can always add additional water before heating.
