Chicken Parm Recipe
A recipe for chicken parmesan.
Serves four.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup flour for dredging
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 Cup italian bread crumbs
- 1 Jar good spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation
Heat butter and olive oil on medium in a non stick skillet. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Dredge chicken in flour, shake off excess then move to egg wash (1 egg tablespoons water) and then finish in italian bread crumbs. Cook each side until golden brown (about three minutes per side) pour 1 half of the jar of pasta sauce into a baking dish. After chicken is golden place in baking dish, bake for twenty five minutes. Remove chicken from oven and spoon 1 table spoon of sauce over each chicken breast and liberally top with mozzarella cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted. Serve with pasta or salad and garlic bread.
