Delicious Chicken Curry

published by pearl2010 on Dec 14, 2009

Here’s another recipe of chicken meat. It’s called Chicken Curry, and it’s worth trying for.

The Ingredients:

3-4 pounds chicken, cut into serving pieces

2 tablespoon clarified butter/Cooking oil

2 medium sized onions, minced

2 teaspoons chicken curry powder

Water or chicken stock

Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

The Procedures:

1. Dry the chicken pieces with paper towels. Heat the clarrified butter or cooking oil in heavy-bottomed casserole and fry the chicken until it’s golden. Remove and set aside.

2. Soften the onions and the garlic in the butter. Add the chicken curry powder and cook, stirring for 2 minutes, taking care to prevent burning.

3. Add the stock or water, season with salt and pepper, and return the chicken to the casserole. Simmer gently until the chicken is done, about 30 to 45 minutes. Serve with rice if you want.
