Simple homecooked recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 Kg of Chicken pieces ( mixed pieces of chicken drumsticks, wings, breast, thighs)
- ½ jar of red fermented beancurd ( available in chinese markets in jars)
- ½ cup sugar
Method:
- Marinate the chicken pieces with the res fermented Bean curd and sugar and leave it to marinate for at least 4 hours. ( Preferably do this step a day before you want to cook this dish)
- Heat up the wok or deep Frying Pan ( whichever more convenient to you) or if you have a Deep Fryer , you can use that too)
- Pour in the Vegetable oil/Cooking palm oil wait for the oil to be heated up, if you wan to know if the oil is ready for you to deep fried the chicken, use a wooden spoon/ chopstick, put it inside the oil and if you see bubbles on the spoon or chopstick, that means you can start putting you chicken in the oil to fry.
- Do not fry all the chicken at one time separate t out to 2-3 times.
- Fry the chicken till it cooked and you can take it out and serve.
- To make it more tastier, get a bottle of Thai Sweet chilli sauce as a dip.
