Simple homecooked recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Kg of Chicken pieces ( mixed pieces of chicken drumsticks, wings, breast, thighs)
  • ½ jar of red fermented beancurd ( available in chinese markets in jars)
  • ½ cup sugar

Method:

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with the res fermented Bean curd and sugar and leave it to marinate for at least 4 hours. ( Preferably do this step a day before you want to cook this dish)
  2. Heat up the wok or deep Frying Pan ( whichever more convenient to you) or if you have a Deep Fryer , you can use that too)
  3. Pour in the Vegetable oil/Cooking palm oil wait for the oil to be heated up, if you wan to know if the oil is ready for you to deep fried the chicken, use a wooden spoon/ chopstick, put it inside the oil and if you see bubbles on the spoon or chopstick, that means you can start putting you chicken in the oil to fry.
  4. Do not fry all the chicken at one time separate t out to 2-3 times.
  5. Fry the chicken till it cooked and you can take it out and serve.
  6. To make it more tastier, get a bottle of Thai Sweet chilli sauce as a dip.
