Garlic Chicken Recipe

Garlic Chicken may be served as  snacks with cocktails or as part of the main course meal.

If delicious meal is on your mind and you don’t want to be bogged down by the hassles of labourious cooking then Garlic chicken is the answer!!

Ingredients

  • 1pound boneless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoon soysauce
  • 1tablespoon dry sherry
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 medium sized nions finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Chili paste as desired
  • Salt to taste
  • oil for frying

Method

Clean the chicken pieces. Cut them into medium size cubes. In a bowl, put the chicken cubes, sesame oil, dry sherry and soy sauce and mix thoroughly. Marinate for a minumum of 2 hrs.

Heat the pan and add oil. When the oil is hot but not smoky add the marinated chicken. Stir fry briefly on high heat. Add the garlic and onion . As the onion tuns golden brown add the chili paste and salt. Mix well. Pour the soy sauce on the mixture and toss. Cover the pan and cook it tiil the chicken is done. Garnish with fresh mint or coriander.

Serve hot with white rice
