Garlic Herb and Lemon Chicken

Garlic Herb and Lemon Chicken – A zesty new flavor to an old favorite.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  •  4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 4 tsp Parsley Flakes
  • 4 tsp Oregano
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • ½ C. Water
  • 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast’s
  • 4 tsp Meat Tenderizer
  • 2 Tbsp Oil

Method

  1. Heat oil in a 12 inch skillet
  2. Add chicken breast’s drizzle lemon juice evenly over chicken
  3. Sprinkle 1 tsp garlic powder over each piece of chicken
  4. Sprinkle 1 tsp meat tenderizer over each piece of chicken
  5. Sprinkle 1 tsp each of oregano and parsley over the chicken
  6. At this point add ½ C water
  7. Turn heat on medium and cover, let simmer. Periodically check to make sure they do not stick
  8. Turn when bottom of chicken is golden
  9. Do not let liquids boil away, if needed when liquid is almost gone add another ¼ C. water and 2 Tbsp of lemon juice
  10. Chicken will be done when it is golden brown on both sides and had an internal temperature of 165 degrees

Side suggestion

With this meal I would strongly suggest that you have fresh snow peas to go with it. With either a side salad or my Herb and Garlic Bread (which is also available on here as well)
