How to Make Chicken Biryani

This is the biryani made by the best cook of India,my mother she has won a award from the prime minister of India for a feast.

Ingrediants:

chicken 1kg

basmati rice 1kg

onion 500 gm

oil 25 gm

curd 250 ml

ginger garlic paste 4 tsp

red chili powder 4 tsp

4 green chilies

green coriander half bunch

pudina 15- 20 leaves

jerra 2 tsp

chicken biryani masala 3 tsp

2 lemons

saffron yellow colour few drops

Method:

wash chicken pieces and keep aside.

heat pan add oil add jeera and fry onions when onions are golden brown add chicken and fry till water evaporates.

Add ginger garlic paste and curd  and mix well add red chili powder,corriander leaves,pudina,biryani masala,green chili mix well and cover and cook till chicken is tender.

now add lemon juice .

Soak rice for 30 mins and cook till 3/4th done.

now put rice over chicken.

Sprinkle saffron yellow colour and cover and cook on slow heat for 25 mins.
