How to Make Reshmi Kebabs

Try this delicious roasted kebab with no oil.

Ingredients

  • Minced chicken – 1 kg
  • Ginger and garlic paste – 2 tbl.sp
  • Finely chopped onion – 3 to 4
  • Sliced and fried onions – 3 to 4
  • Red chilli powder – 1 ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder – 1  ½ tsp
  • Black pepper powder – 2 tsp
  • Paste of poppy seeds – 1 ½ tsp
  • Coconut and almond paste – 4 to 5 tbl.sp
  • Fresh cream – 3 to 4 tbl.sp
  • Oil – ½ cup
  • Coal for barbeque – ½ cup
  • Ghee – ¼ cup for coating the kebabs.

 

Method

Wash and drain all the water and mix all the ingredients given and allow it to marinate for four to five hours for best result. Then heat coal and shape marinated mince chicken through wooden or iron rod called seekh.

Cover it well and cook on low flame of pre-heated coal. When it becomes golden brown, coat ghee with a brush or spoon and remove from rods. Delicious reshmi kebabs are ready to serve. Serve it with fresh salads.
