Indian Quail Curry

Quail cooked the Indian way. It sounds good and also taste great.

Ingredients

  • 6 quails
  • 400 gms of onions, chopped
  • 400 gms of tomato
  • 100gms ginger garlic paste
  • 100 ml oil
  • 150 gms of jeera
  • 100 gms of coriander powder
  • 50 gms of coriander springs
  • 30 gms of red chili powder
  • 50 ml curd salt to taste

Method

  1. Marinate the quails in salt , half of the ginner garlic paste, coriander powder and red chili powder for 30 minutes
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add jeera and chopped onion, fry it till it gets brown.
  3. Add ginner garlic paste, fry till its raw smell gets off
  4. Add the spices and fry it till the fat comes on top .
  5. Add curd and cook till it binds with the curry well
  6. Now add marinated quails and cook on medium flame
  7. Serve hot and check after seasoning.
