Leftover Chicken Ideas

If you made chicken and gravy or some other dish involving whole chicken, you might be wondering what to do with the leftovers. Here are a few ideas!

Leftover Chicken Idea #1 – Chicken Sandwiches

     Simply pull chicken from the bone and use for sandwich meat. You can heat the chicken in the microwave if you prefer or go cold chicken.

Leftover Chicken Idea #2 – Chicken Spaghetti

     Combine your favorite spaghetti sauce and leftover chicken in a stockpot or saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and then simmer for about 30 minutes. Voila!

Leftover Chicken Idea #3 – BBQ Chicken

     Combine leftover chicken with your favorite barbeque sauce in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 30 minutes. This can be eaten alone or on a sandwich.

Leftover Chicken Idea #3 – Chicken Alfredo

     Combine chicken and your choice alfredo sauce. Place in a saucepan and simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve over noodles.

Leftover Chicken Idea #4 – Chicken Stir Fry

     Stir fry chicken, your choice vegetables, 1/2 cup chicken broth and 2 tablespoons soy sauce until vegetables are tender. Serve alone, with rice or with noodles.

Leftover Chicken Idea #5 – Salad

     Serve warm leftover chicken over a robust salad. This makes a great lunch.
