Maple Wing Recipes

Chicken wings with a twist.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup lite soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespon onion powder
  • 2 tsps. black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. crushes red pepper
  • 1-2 cups maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cut wing at joints to make 3 pieces.  Discard wing tips or save for later use.
  3. Place wings in large disposable baking pan
  4. Add maple syrup tp taste, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, garlic and onion powder, red and black pepper.
  5. Toss to coat
  6. Bake for 1 hr. tossing every 15-20 minutes.  The liquid will gradually reduce and thicken as it cooks.
  7. After 1 hour, increase oven to 450. Toss wings a final time and bake for 30 min.or until browned.
  8. Serve.
