Pasta and Chicken-Dressed Casserole

published by Michelle Hill on May 17, 2008

A chicken-based casserole with dressing and noodles for a complete and healthy meal that feeds a family of four.

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts,
  • 2 boxes of chicken flavored dressing,
  • a box of noodles of your choosing,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup,
  • 2 cups of chicken stock.

Baking pan of any large size as well as an oven, 2 pots, a skillet, fork and measuring cup are needed as well.

Preparation

  1. First boil your noodles on the stovetop until tender.
  2. Now cook your stuffing according to the directions on the box and set aside.
  3. Now break your 2 eggs and drop them into your baking dish.
  4. Open your cans of soup and add them as well as the chicken stock into your baking dish and stir well. This creates the base to keep your casserole together.
  5. Fry or bake your chicken breasts, and then cut into small cubes or strips. This is then added to the mixture in your baking dish and stirred in.
  6. Now add your strained noodles into the mixture. Once this is complete, spoon your stuffing around the top of the entire baking dish so as to create a topper for the ingredients. This is now put into the oven for 55 minutes at 425 degrees, or until the stuffing on top is beginning to harden.

This recipe will feed a family of 4 and has a total cook time including prep of 1 hour and 10 minutes.
