Quick Savory Chicken and Rice Recipe
Simple and easy recipe to follow for savory chicken and rice.
Ingredients
- 4 Cups of Boiled Water
- 1 ½ Cup of Long Grain Rice
- ¼ Stick of Margarine
- 3 Chicken thighs with skin
Method
Boil the chicken thighs with skin and ¼ stick of margarine in 4 cups of water. Use more margarine if you want a buttery taste to the Quick Savory Chicken and Rice recipe. Boil on medium heat for about 30 to 45 minutes until chicken thighs are done. Extract the chicken thigh meat from the bone by placing them in small bowl. Leave the skin on the thigh for flavor. Do not dispose of the juice it was cooked in. Put the chicken thighs now boneless into the juice it was cooked in. Pour 1 ½ cup of rice in with the chicken and stir. Follow the directions on the rice you choose to use. If you use minute rice then your chicken and rice will be ready in a minute. Season to taste with your preferences. Serves 4. Enjoy.
