Simple Cooking for the Holiday Season: Fried Chicken Adobo
One of the most popular Filipino foods that everyone loves to eat including tourists.
Ingredients:
- 1 kilo chicken
- 1 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 6-10 pieces of laurel leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 2 pieces garlic
Method:
*This recipe can be considered as the easiest to prepare.
- Place them all in a big bowl and mix.
- Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the concentration of the taste you want to have for your fried chicken adobo. But for me, I marinate it overnight. I just don’t know the reason for covering it, but I cover the bowl with plastic and put it in the refrigerator; it just tastes better.
- Deep Fry until cook.
- Serve and Eat!
(Note: This is not the original recipe, but it will still taste the same. I am just giving you an alternative for you to save money.)
