A tasty recipe that almost gets the right taste for K.F.C
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of chicken breasts
- ½ cup flour
- 1 cup of milk
- Oil
- Salt and vinegar chips (to your liking)
Method:
- Soak the chicken in the milk for at least 40mins, leaving them in the refrigerator
- While the chicken is soaking, prepare the flour by putting into a plastic bag. Crush the salt and vinegar chips and place in the bag with the flour.
- Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and place 2-3 pieces of chicken into the plastic bag with the flour. Shake. Continue this process until all of the chicken is coated.
- Dip the coated chicken into the milk again and then return to the plastic bag to coat with more of the flour mixture (all chicken must be double coated)
- Leave chicken to sit for 20mins before cooking
- Heat a little oil in a pan on medium heat and place 2-3 pieces of chicken into the pan, cooking until well browned. Continue with all remaining chicken until it is all cooked.
- Serve with a tossed green salad or home cooked chips. .
