Cooking Without Mom: Party Pizza
A pizza great for a party. It’s healthy and very tasty.
Ingredients
Dough:
- 500mL flour
- 2mL baking soda
- 1 egg
- 12mL baking powder
- 45mL vegetable oil
- 150-200mL milk
Sauce:
- 125mL tomato sauce
- 1mL salt
- 1mL pepper
- 1mL basil
- 1mL oregano
- 1mL thyme
- 1mL garlic powder
Toppings:
- 250mL mozzarella, grated
- 50mL Parmesan cheese
- 1 piece sausage
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease pizza pan.
- Stir together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Mix together vegetable oil, and egg and toss lightly into flour mixture using a fork.
- Add milk gradually, tossing with a fork until mixture leaves the sides of the bowl and forms a ball.
- Roll out dough on lightly floured counter. Roll into a circle about size of pizza pan.
- Place dough on pizza pan and stretch out to the edges. Pinch up edges slightly.
- Spread sauce on pizza dough (Mix together tomato sauce and seasonings).
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, top with sausage and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bottom crust is golden brown and the cheese bubbles.
