Cheesy carrot rolls!
CHEESE AND CARROT ROLLS
Ingredients:
- Carrots 3-4, grated.
- Cheese 3 Tbsp, grated.
- Butter 2 Tbsp.
- Green chilies 2, chopped (or to taste).
- White vinegar 1 Tsp.
- Mustard powder 1 Tsp, leveled.
- Fresh bread few slices.
- Salt to taste.
- Melted butter
Method:
- Remove the crust from the bread slices. Roll out the bread to thin slices and keep them in a wet napkin.
- Mix the carrots, grated cheese, butter, green chilies, mustard powder, vinegar and salt.
- Spread a little of this mixture on each bread slice. Now roll up each bread slice tightly ensuring that the mixture doesn’t fall out. (Just like a spring roll.).
- Cut each roll into 3 parts. Prick each roll with a tooth pick on the top to grip it further.
- Arrange these rolls on a greased Baking tray and apply little melted butter on each roll.
- Bake in hot oven at 400 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes. (In the middle shelf).
