Cheesy carrot rolls!

CHEESE AND CARROT ROLLS

 

Ingredients:

 

  • Carrots                                     3-4, grated.
  • Cheese                                     3 Tbsp, grated.
  • Butter                                       2 Tbsp.
  • Green chilies                             2, chopped (or to taste).
  • White vinegar                           1 Tsp.
  • Mustard powder                       1 Tsp, leveled.
  • Fresh bread                              few slices.
  • Salt                                          to taste.
  • Melted butter

Method:

 

  1. Remove the crust from the bread slices. Roll out the bread to thin slices and keep them in a wet napkin.
  2. Mix the carrots, grated cheese, butter, green chilies, mustard powder, vinegar and salt.
  3. Spread a little of this mixture on each bread slice. Now roll up each bread slice tightly ensuring that the mixture doesn’t fall out. (Just like a spring roll.).
  4. Cut each roll into 3 parts. Prick each roll with a tooth pick on the top to grip it further.
  5. Arrange these rolls on a greased Baking tray and apply little melted butter on each roll.
  6. Bake in hot oven at 400 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes. (In the middle shelf).
